“We all need a bailout – to be rescued from our wrong ideas about money and bad financial habits.  The worst thing bout the meltdown is that the kids are watching us and losing faith in the system.  If you don’t know what to do about money, how will your children?  Let Can I Have Some Money?TM  lift your money making spirits.  It’s a stimulus package for your brain!”

Candi Sparks is publisher, author, and motivational speaker.  Her passion is helping KIDS understand money through the self-published the Can I Have Some Money? TM  kid’s book and workshop series.  But her advice is so on point, that it titillates audiences of all ages!  She has worked with Jack and Jill groups, the NYC Public School System, Brooklyn College, Hezekiah Walier’s Love Fellowship Tabernacle and many other organizations.

Candi established her Sparks Fly publishing business to distribute Can I Have Some Money? TM  because traditional publishers didn’t think kids want to know about money.  The company motto is “Sparks fly when learning changes lives.”  Kids really eat this money stuff up.  They want the knowledge and money!

Can I Have Some Money? earned Candi an invitation to the annual meeting of the U.S. President’s Council on Financial Literacy and a scholarship to the 2009 CFED Youth Savings Conference.  In addition to her work with Sparks Fly, Candi writes a monthly kids and money column for Brooklyn Family(a Courier Life publication owned by The Daily News) and is a financial literacy consultant for Inwood House, a 100+ year old agency specializing in services for pregnant and parenting teens.

During these transitions, Candi demonstrated that she could successfully reach her financial goals and communicate to others how they could to do the same.  Can I Have Some Money? TM is the culmination of all parts of her life into a single mission - financial literacy and empowerment for our youth, by any means necessary!  She inspires others of all ages to achieve success.
